DESCRIPTION:This summer\, history gets a mischievous rewrite as the Sarah S
 iddons Fan Club proudly presents a delightfully irreverent celebration of 
 the 250th anniversary of American Independence.\n\nIn a twist worthy of th
 e stage\, King George III himself returns to Southampton—not to reclaim 
 the colonies (he’s been advised against it)\, but to witness the grand u
 nveiling of his statue at the historic Bargate. As His Majesty nears the e
 nd of his reign\, he reflects—dramatically\, and with no small amount of
  theatrical flair—on the great imperial heartbreak: the loss of America.
 \n\nBeginning at St Michael’s Church\, audiences will embark on a windin
 g journey through Southampton’s Old Town\, encountering a lively cast of
  characters who shaped (and occasionally bungled) the story of a nation. E
 xpect surprise appearances from monarchs and revolutionaries\, pilgrims an
 d princesses\, merchants and—brace yourself—spies. Yes\, spies.\n\nFro
 m the bold ventures of Elizabeth I’s explorers to the unfortunate misund
 erstandings of George III’s reign\, this immersive promenade performance
