Did you know Southampton funded the first attempt at colonising the Americas back in 1583 – almost exactly two hundred years later it all went wrong! So just in case our American Cousins are having second thoughts we thought we would make them at offer ‘Make America George’s Again!’ We are packing two hundred years of history into a ninety minute piece of street theatre so look forward to seeing you on the 4th July (or the 5th and 6th!!)

At the recent Heritage Day event at Southampton Art Gallery I won a ticket for two people to take part in the founding of America walk on the 4th, 5th or 6th July.
