1588 and England is under threat of invasion – a great Spanish Armada is sailing up the coast and heading for Southampton! What on earth did the people of Southampton do to upset the King of Spain!! Join us for a special screening of ‘The Armada Chronicle’ a film commissioned by the University of Southampton Maritime Communities Project. The film will be screened as part of the Southampton Heritage Fair taking place on 6th June 2026 at Southampton Art Gallery, the event runs from 10am till 4pm with the screening taking place at 2.30 in the Art Gallery Lecture Theatre – best part its FREE
