This year the fanclub is delving into Southampton’s historical dabbling with the Dark arts.
From witches to vagabonds and all stops in between.
Join King James on one of his first progress visits to Southampton, to root out
practitioners of the occult and other ne’er-do-wells.
Meet the suspected witches, Widow Wells and Widow Walker, Kate Hunt, Maria Dingley not to mention the Warlock, Robert Keyes and you’ll find out which witch is which. You can discover how to protect your serves from their undue influence to and, if your very lucky, even William Shakespeare may make an appearance. All true stories of local history.
